1. You must realize your need for a Savior because you cannot save yourself. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way.” Isaiah 53:6
  2. The only way you can be saved is because Christ died to pay the punishment for your sins. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Cor. 5:21
  3. We cannot save ourselves but God gives salvation to those who turn to Him in repentance and faith, trusting only in the death of Christ to save them. This is called “grace” or a free gift from God. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
  4. Jesus gives us a wonderfully free invitation to come unto Him and be saved. “Come. And let him who hears say, Come. And let him who is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” Rev. 22:17 “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” Isaiah 45:22

How Can I be Saved?
...forgiven of my sins and given eternal life in heaven?

  1. You first need to know who you are and who God is. God is the Creator and you are the creature. He is eternal and you are mortal. He is infinite and you are finite. Everything created is totally dependent upon God for life and breath, yes, even for their very existence. "God made the world and all things therein...For in him we live, and move, and have our being (our very existence)." Acts 17:24-28
  2. God created you and so you are responsible to Him. "For it is written, 'As I live,' saith the Lord, 'every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.' So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." Romans 14:11-12 Are you ready to stand before a holy and righteous God?
